Raj Kumar Gandharba

Raj Kumar Gandharba is a development professional with more than 20 years of experience in developing and implementing programme and policy strategies and plans including research projects at the national and global levels. Raj has experience in  supporting the programmes in the countries in Africa as well as Asia and the Pacific regions. Raj has conducted research on education especially focusing on equity, inclusion and social justice, and published peer reviewed articles and books. He works with most disadvantaged communities and brings their voices to policy platforms of national and international intergovernmental bodies, UN agencies, donors, CSOs and other partners to implement SDGs and influence policy change. Raj was also an editor of a quarterly bulletin that  brought the voices of the voiceless of Nepal for 10 years. Raj was awarded the Anthony Thompson Award (2008) for his work with marginalized communities.  In addition, he was a finalist of the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) Award 2012 and an international WISE mentor since 2013.
